Adding a Service
Navigate to the Dashboard at the top left corner of the screen, click on Settings, (if you have more than 1 location) select your location from the dropdown menu in the top middle of the screen, within the online scheduling settings select Services, and select Add Service. From here, fill in all pertinent information to your service and save.
Some of your staff members can handle only some services. That is why you can link staff members to your services:
If you want to give access to some ressources, you can also link resources to them:
This means each time a given service is booked, all resources linked to it will be booked as well. If for a time slot the total amount of any resource linked to a service is booked, the service will not be bookable in that time slot.
Editing a Service
Navigate to the Dashboard at the top left corner of the screen, click on Settings, (if you have more than 1 location) select your location from the dropdown menu in the top middle of the screen, within the online scheduling settings select Services, and select any existing service you wish to edit. From here you can change things like the name, price availability, and duration of a service.
Additional settings when editing a service
Description: A description of a particular Service that will be displayed in a booking widget below the Service name.
Price: shows your clients in the widget how much a service cost or, if you have online payments set to optional/required, make payments before booking.
Duration: Sets a time slot that a given service will consume
Buffer Duration: A pad of time before and after a booked service dictating how close another service can be booked.
Duration and Buffer Time: These function allow you to customize the longevity of a service and chose a buffer time to manage the intervals in between. These can be set by a simple drag.
Overnight service : Check this option if your service overlaps two different days.
Maximum number of appointments per day: This allows you with the simple drop down menu.
Color: Putting colors allows you to categorize your services allowing for a easier management of services. Adding a color to your services allows easy visual distinction on your Dashboard
Staff Members that can perform the service: In this section you can also chose your staff members you want to group in this services and their pricing; allowing you to divide your staff's expertise and specialization easily. (good tip is matching the staff and service color to help you manage)
Service Photo: Putting an image is the final touch to personalizing those service further more, allowing you to have a small preview in your widget.
Advanced: The Advanced tab allows you to hide a particular service from your customers, allowing it to only be booked internally. This can be useful if you wish to temporarily hide a service from your widget instead of having to delete it, or for appointments which you do not wish your customers to book directly such as a followup appointment.
Creating Service Groups
Navigate to the dashboard at the top left corner of the screen, click on Settings, (if you have more than 1 location) select your location from the dropdown menu in the top middle of the screen, within the online scheduling settings select Services, and click Groups next to List, and click on Add Group. On the following page, you will be able to enter the following information:
- Name: This will help you and your customers identify the services group, and will be displayed in the booking widget.
- Color: This color will be used in the calendar view, once again to differentiate and help you manage it more efficiently.
- Services included : Choose here the services that belong to the group.
