How to customize notifications depending on a staff or a service ("if" dynamic text)

When sending notifications to your staff or clients about their upcoming appointment, you will see that by default Agendize is doing a great job and offering you a beautiful template. Although what if you want to customize it, so that a service or staff has its own personalized notifications. Here is how:


1. Get the ID of the staff or service

(service) Locate the service ID number by going to dashboard->settings->services. Then click the wanted service. Once you are brought to the service you want copy the link in the URL (screenshot below). Make sure you copy the last numbers and not the other one as it is the company ID.

2. Select the template to edit

Once you have copied the ID number just go to Dashboard > Settings > Message Templates.


3. Edit the template

Once you are in the template you want to modify the body by putting one of the following dynamic text. 


(service{if:service id=123456} xxxxx {endif}


(staff) {if:staff id=123456} xxxxx {endif} 


xxxxx being what you want the notification to display for the specified staff member or service.

You can use the service group name as well : {if:serviceGroup=Test}Specific text to display{endif}
